Scooter-Vespa 50 Special, Built 1976, Kempten Germany

Consumption without Fuel Saver: 2,60 l/100Km

Consumption with Fuel Saver: 2,20 l/100Km

Savings: 15,00%

Today I refueled my Vespa 50 special, BJ 1976 for the 3rd time after putting the ECOPower Fuel Saver in the tank and 200 km mileage each time and for the 3rd time I used exactly 2.2 l fuel per 100 km. In comparison to the previous reliably constant consumption, with always the same distance over country and city traffic of 2.6 l per 100 km, this is a fuel saving of 15%.

With this inherently low consumption, the cost savings could perhaps be neglected, but the most astonishing advantage lies in the noticeable increase in ignitability of the old 2-stroke engine. For example, I used to have to shift down to 3rd gear when climbing a 16% incline in order to then go full throttle up the incline at 35 km/h. Today I can do it at 45 km/h in 3rd gear and three quarters of the gas.

The pure, warm air that blows out of the exhaust at the back is particularly pleasing. Before it was the unmistakably fragrant bluish haze of a 2-stroke engine, now my nose only smells warm air. The engine runs much quieter and also reaches a higher top speed, which I only tested once, but otherwise don't take advantage of for the love of the engine and the consumption. The permitted 50 km/h can be reached on level ground in 4th gear with half throttle. I've always enjoyed scootering with my oldie, but never more than now.

Thank you for this unique invention. I can only warmly recommend the ECOPower Fuel Saver and wish you and your team the courage and perseverance to assert yourself against all skeptics.
