Motorbike-BMW R1150 GS, Built 2003, Wolfau-Austria

Consumption without Fuel Saver: 6,40 l/100Km

Consumption with Fuel Saver: 5,48 l/100Km

Savings: 16,00%

We have just returned from a nice tour of Scandinavia with the BMW R 1150 GS motorcycle, built 2003, currently 111,700 km and I would like to share with you my experience during this 6,100 km tour and the first half of the use of the ECOPower Fuel Saver type M.

The fully loaded motorcycle consumed 334 liters of Eurosuper on this tour, which is 5.475 liters per 100 km on an average

Gasoline price of €1.66 (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria) = €544.4 fuel costs.

Before using the ECOPower Fuel Saver Type M, the consumption under similar conditions was 6.4 liters, that would be 390.4 liters of fuel = 648 € fuel costs.

Saving on the tour alone: €103.6

The oil consumption (normal for a BMW boxer engine) dropped sensationally to 1/3 of the previously usual value, consumption on the tour

1.5 liters of Castrol GTX engine oil instead of the previous approx. 4.5 liters with a sporty driving style with a passenger and 18 days of luggage.

Savings of around €36 on the tour alone

As with the Type M tank installation, the engine is more powerful in the lower speed range and accelerates the machine also packed with sport equipment.

The range with one tank (22 lt) increased from approx. 340 km to over 400 km.

The investment in the ECOPower Fuel SaverType M has so far this year with the motorcycles (BMW 1150 GS & 650 GS change license plates) driven about 16,000 km more than expected, not only that the fuel consumption dropped, it's also more fun because of the more - power from the lower revs and the longer range with one tank.

Less consumption with the ECOPower Fuel Saver is not only money-saving, but also an active investment in emission protection.
